The Bureau of Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is seeking a dependable and motivated WIC Program Representative to join our team.

Requirements

In this position, you will conduct reviews to determine if grantees are following federal and state regulations.

Your work will involve conducting local retail store management reviews, investigating vendor complaints, and ensuring that all authorized stores have entered into signed agreements for participation in the WIC program.

You will also ensure that all authorized stores attend annual training and recommend disqualification when annual training is missed.

Further duties include assisting with the development and revisions of the standard operating procedures.

Additionally, you will also assist with elements of different plans, drafting reports, and other aspects of WIC policies and procedures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Work requires travel to conduct program reviews, retail store reviews, and Formula Distribution Center audits in accordance with policy.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of professional experience in administering the operations of a health, human, or social services program; and a bachelors degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
