This job involves working in a call center for Pennsylvania's government accounting team, where you'll handle phone calls and emails from vendors asking about payments, invoices, and related issues, while also making outbound calls to provide clarifications.

As a Payable Services Call Center Representative, you are the first point of contact for live inbound or outbound calls, the payment inquiry email resource account, and documents through the Microsoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
This position provides customer service to vendors and agency personnel through utilizing courteous, respectful, empathetic, and professional, forms of communication.
Answering and initiating phone calls and emails play a major role in requesting invoice status, invoice payments, remittance information, and vendor master data issues.
You will provide a daily stats report for all activities performed and documented as well as any communication that suggests, implies, or declares fraud or loss of monies which potentially have negative consequences for vendors or the Commonwealth and escalate as directed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may be expected to work from home (telework) full-time, with occasional in-office days when work dictates such requirements.
Please keep in mind that while this is a full-time telework position, that can change at any time at the Governor's discretion.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
