Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading operations at a naval repair facility in Singapore, where you'll manage ship docking, movements, maintenance, and urgent repairs for the U.S. Pacific Fleet.
You'll oversee teams, resources, and planning while coordinating with leaders, contractors, and agencies to keep naval operations running smoothly.
It's a great fit for experienced managers with a background in naval or shipyard work who enjoy directing large-scale projects and advising on long-term strategies.
You will serve as a WATERFRONT OPERATIONS DIRECTOR in the WATERFRON OPERATIONS DEPARTMENTofSRF DETACHMENT SINGAPORE .
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience directing and managing dry-docking, ship movements, maintenance availability, and emergent repairs; promoting project and program management techniques to complex, large-scale operations; applying knowledge of Navy fleet maintenance management organizations, programs, and policies, including Navy Shipyard and private ship repair facility operations; and applying knowledge of business management, contracts, resource, and organizational principles and practices, and knowledge of personnel management, and the ability to plan, manage and supervise work operations.
