This part-time van driver role involves providing door-to-door transportation to residents in Wayne County, Pennsylvania, especially seniors and people with disabilities, to help them get where they need to go safely and comfortably.
You'll drive about 150 miles a day, assist passengers along paths, and offer friendly social interaction while working mostly independently.
It's a great fit for someone who enjoys driving, helping others, and has strong listening and communication skills.

As a part-time van driver, you will enhance the mobility of consumers by providing professional and accessible transportation in a safe, reliable, comfortable and courteous manner.
You will operate a county vehicle an average of 150 miles each day.
This is an opportunity to provide transportation service as well as social contact for our consumers (including senior adults and wheelchair-dependent persons). while working independently.
Excellent communication skills are required, both person to person and via two-way radio.
Willingness and patience to assist consumers, including senior adults and wheelchair-dependent consumers along rough payment or unpaved paths is essential.
This role requires the ability to easily adjust in daily schedule. You will have the opportunity to provide important assistance and socialization throughout the day.
