Full Job Description

You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST for SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD SAN DIEGO.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Having knowledge and experience of conventional and established training methods, familiarity with tools used to design and develop training courses and materials, and evaluate instructor performance; 2) Evaluating curriculum effectiveness and conducting development projects of existing curriculum; AND 3) Collaborating with active duty staff in project management, customer service oriented and leverages workforce experience to problem-solve and effectively communicate ideas.

  • You will advise on all matters pertaining to training, including training functions, curriculum development, and testing programs.
  • You will be responsible for all coordination necessary to ensure updates are incorporated into the courses of instruction.
  • You will monitor and/or update appropriate instructions and databases with regard to training requirements, testing programs, and quality of training.
  • You will perform curriculum development and revision functions.
  • You will review and evaluate curriculum materials for technical accuracy and accomplishment of objectives.
