Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command.
The incumbent will be responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, and managing programs and policies that support the secure, timely, and efficient distribution of classified and sensitive materials.
This involves ensuring readiness and effectiveness of personnel, managing security programs, and applying expertise to inform policy decisions You may qualify at the GS-GS-12 if you fulfill the following qualifications: A.
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: Designing, developing, and implementing technical training programs for adult learners.
Managing both physical and personnel security programs, to include handling clearances and investigating incidents.
Managing large-scale logistics and transportation systems, particularly for moving sensitive or classified materials.
Creating and managing evaluation programs to ensure compliance with established standards. Interpreting and adapting complex, high-level policies for use by operational units.
Acting as a liaison between different government agencies or commands to solve operational problems is necessary.OR Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

As a TRAINING PROGRAM SPECIALIST at the GS-0301-12 some of your typical work assignments may include: Manages the entire lifecycle of the courier training program, from curriculum design to qualification standards, to ensure personnel are proficient.
Oversees division-level physical and personnel security, including policy development, clearance management for SCI access, and incident investigation.
Manages an evaluation program to objectively assess courier station mission effectiveness and compliance with established guidance.
Applies defense logistics expertise to interpret and adapt DoD policies for the global transportation of classified materials.
