Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: Have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service: 1.

Demonstrates a practical knowledge of Special Operations Forces Communications, equipment and techniques. 2.

Experience in managing the development of the new tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP), related to the new communications systems and there operation environment. 3.

Responsible for the overall maintenance of assigned courses. 4. Coordinate and execute training and instructional course material.

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Education.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.

To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.

Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).

Major Duties:

  • Prepares the Training Schedule and modifies the schedule due to unforeseen or short-notice changes to training facility (ies), lack of equipment, or mission requirements.
  • Provides written evaluations and recommendations to the Supervisor. Operates civilian and military vehicles with an average GVW of 10,000 pounds to transport personnel and equipment.
  • Provides instruction for approximately 30 different courses in the Program of Instruction (POI) for students and newly assigned personnel.
  • Modifies the classroom, practical exercises, COMEX, and FTXs, if required equipment is not available.
  • Develop and implement the individual and unit evaluation checklists(s) and score sheets based on the Unit METL, SOPs, and Commander's Objectives.
