This position is scheduled to work four (4) days a week; Monday - Thursday, from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional overtime.

How to be Successful in the Role:

Provide great customer service for our tenants and prioritize work orders while working with a team of professional gardeners.

Have a positive and enthusiastic work presence while also working independently.

Proactively address landscaping and irrigation issues and maintain the highest quality in workmanship and customer service.

Core Daily Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintenance of grasses, flowers, shrubs, and flower beds. General grounds maintenance of county owned facilities.
  • May assist with laying sod, installing irrigation systems, and performing other duties related to gardening or landscaping projects.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • This is an entry-level position. Prior work experience and or knowledge in the field will be considered.


Special Requirements:

  • Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid Washington State Driver's license.
