The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION-Performing installation, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of voice and data communication systems and equipment.

• You will be responsible for the performance of telephone and data equipment installation and repair at user sites throughout the Air Station.
• You will Install, repair, maintain, and modify telephone system equipment, including digital Private Branch Exchanges (PBX) and associated telephone line conditioning and terminal devices.
• You will install, maintain, and repair distribution cable systems within buildings from Demarcation point to the terminal equipment.
• You will test and analyze secure telephone and data communication devices and coordinate repair action in system outages.
