This job involves leading a team that maintains and operates a critical very low frequency radio transmitter antenna system at a naval detachment in Maine, including planning budgets, assigning tasks, and overseeing upgrades and repairs.
It's a supervisory role focused on ensuring the system's readiness for military communications.

Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: -Experience assigning work to subordinates responsible for the operational readiness and maintenance of radio transmitter antenna systems.
-Experience assessing and authorizing all engineering change orders, equipment requisitions, shop and work orders for technical adequacy, priority, funding and scheduling.
-Experience analyzing equipment and spare part requirements when planning budgets and expenditures for upgrades and replacement projects.
-Experience reviewing engineering level details such as design specifications, drawings, blueprints, and work from sketches.
