Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to align and test combat systems on naval ships, ensuring everything works correctly through planning, coordination, and technical oversight.
It requires managing budgets, providing guidance to team members, and solving problems related to weapon systems and maintenance.

You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the COMBAT SYSTEMS ALIGNMENT DIVISION (C73), COMBAT SYSTEMS TEST & EVALUATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, CA or San Diego, CA.
The salary range shown above is capped at the GS-13 Step 10 (currently $161,313 in Port Hueneme, CA; $158,062 in San Diego, CA).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, coordinating, and integrating Combat System Alignment (CSA) and Collimation processes and procedures to monitor budget expenditures, provide technical guidance and mentorship, and ensure the successful execution of combat system alignment projects or programs.
