What you will do:

You will provide basic taxpayer and customer assistance and registration through the Taxpayer Service Center in a courteous and professional manner with a focus on security of taxpayer data.


Primary job duties include:

  • Providing customer service to help resolve tax related questions and issues
  • Processing business registrations for retail licenses and withholding, admissions, and coin operated device tax accounts
  • Reviewing and processing Power of Attorney submissions and system work items
  • Using tax systems to adjust and/or correct taxpayers' accounts
  • Making suggestions and/or recommendations to improve existing practices or processes

Requirements

Either:

  1. A bachelor’s degree OR
  2. A high school diploma and directly related work experience


Academic degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher learning.

Qualifications

  • Face-to-face customer service experience
  • Considerable knowledge of business practices, procedures, and technology
