Responsible for cashier operations and functions including preparing credit card, cash, and check receipts.
Review receipt and disbursements of patient state and state funds to ensure that proper transactions occur for deposit to personal funds accounts, social security, patient payroll checks, and shopping trips.
Transactions include verifying funds availability in patients accounts, disbursing petty cash, verifying spending or purchase, writing receipts, preparing vouchers, depositing funds and sending to the SCOMH Business Office.
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations. Ability to perform prescribed analyses of financial records.
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with staff members and the general public. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
