Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to manage maintenance, repairs, and logistics for U.S. Navy submarines in the Atlantic Fleet, ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet technical standards.
You'll act as a key advisor to fleet commanders, making decisions on program execution and overseeing contractors and engineers.
It's a great fit for experienced supervisors with a background in naval engineering or ship maintenance who enjoy leading complex projects in a military setting.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ON-SITE REPRESENTATIVE in the Fleet Maintenance Office (N43), Staff, Commander Submarine Force of the SUBMEPP ACTIVITY.
A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing the operation and execution of ship or submarine maintenance, repair, overhaul, or construction activities and projects to ensure adherence to established schedules.
