Full Job Description

You will serve as a Supv Admin Support Specialist in the Plans, Policies and Operations Department of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Directing and coordinating divisional administrative functions, ensuring compliance with policies; AND overseeing and reviewing critical administrative programs such as document control, records management OR official correspondence.

  • You will provide assistance in the interpretation and application of civilian personnel management policies and procedures.
  • You will serve as a military personnel liaison, providing assistance in the interpretation and application of personnel management policies and procedures.
  • You will be responsible for budget formulation, justification, and execution for the division.
  • You will serve as the Director’s advisor and direct representative for the classification, safeguarding, transmission, and destruction of classified information.
  • You will develop, initiate, and implement administrative policies and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • You will supervise administrative functions and civilian and military personnel.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
