This job involves managing inventory in a naval warehouse, including scheduling and conducting stock checks, processing orders, and resolving supply issues to support fleet logistics.

Entry-level candidates with a year of related work or volunteer experience in logistics would be ideal.
You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Material Management Department (MMD) of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector conducting logistical and supply support.
Examples of specialized experience may include some of the following: 1) Knowledge of supply policies and procedures related to supply management; 2) Ability to schedule, report, and conduct physical inventories; 3) Ability to reconcile inventory discrepancies; 4) Ability to utilize one or more automated supply databases.
