Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.

To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.

Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.

Creditable specialized experience includes: Plan initiatives that have cross-process impact in supply operations.

Use of industrial support, planning systems (MAT, LDW and N-ERP) and other Federal and commercial supply and inventory systems.

Conduct Functional Systems Analysis to analyze, develop, document and evaluate complex functional systems.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:

  • As a Supply Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Understand system functionality and business capabilities of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning System (N-ERP), Material Access Technology (MAT) and Logistic Data Warehouse (LDW).
  • Serve as the focal point for investigating matters that have a broad, cross-process impact and recommend improvements for those processes.
  • Identify areas for system or process improvement in supporting N-ERP end users.
  • Develop and monitor process-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Analyze and evaluate KPIs, metrics and other process performance critical data to ensure the process area is meeting its performance targets.
  • Serve as point of contact (POC) for assessing the impact of policy/legislative requirements from Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), DoD and Congress.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements that impact the Material Management, Warehouse Management, Planning and Order Fulfillment process area.
