Entry salary: $62,107 | Full performance (GS-12): up to $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of technicians to support the design, testing, installation, and maintenance of combat and weapon systems on U.S. Navy ships and facilities.
You'll provide expert guidance on technical issues, conduct research and evaluations, and ensure systems perform reliably during operations.
It's a great fit for experienced engineers or technicians with a background in defense technology who enjoy supervising projects and solving complex problems in a military environment.
You will serve as a Supervisory Technician in the Surface Weapons and Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Division, Sensors Weapons and Launchers Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing leadership and guidance in the performance of technical and engineering services related to conducting system design studies and analyses of requirements, development, test and evaluation, installation, investigation, research, team management, and utilizing financial and administrative support tools and processes in support of combat and weapon systems and equipment programs.
