Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading efforts to protect Navy installations from terrorism and other threats by overseeing programs, coordinating with commands, and ensuring everyone follows security policies.
It's based in Hawaii with a cost-of-living adjustment added to the salary.
A good fit would be someone with experience in security planning and management who enjoys supervising teams in a military environment.
You will serve as a Supervisory Security Specialist (Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection) of JB PEARL HARBOR HICKAM SEC DET.
A post allowance amount, (otherwise known as: COLA), of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. Post allowance is subject to change at any time.
For additional information, please refer to the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Chapter 5 Part B Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Implementing and evaluating comprehensive anti-terrorism/force protection programs; coordinating and implementing programs, policies, regulations and procedures in compliance with applicable laws, agency rules and regulations; ensures prescribed management controls are properly implemented; Serves as the technical expert in a wide variety of duties related to planning, supervising, development, management, and direction of all aspects of the program.
