Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the SECURITY DIVISION of NAVBASE POINT LOMA SEC DET.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing management, antiterrorism and physical security program guidance; 2) Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting deadlines, priorities, and schedules for completion; 3) Reviewing work methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness; 4) Developing performance standards for subordinates; 5) Identifying and apply new technologies, theories and security concepts for defense of the installation and mitigation of vulnerabilities; 6) Overseeing local treat assessment information provided by other law enforcement and homeland security organizations.
