A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must have knowledge of wide range of recreation and sports activities, organization and structure of military units and installation sports program objectives, policies, methods and procedures to plan, organize, and coordinate activities, assist, guide and motivate military staff in carrying out their responsibilities.
Must have basic understanding of budget and supply functions in order to prepare input and justification of funding for supplies and equipment.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing (English). Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": One year experience supervising and scheduling personnel.
One year experience scheduling events / activities in a large community center. One year experience monitoring fiscal requirements of a large community center and bar operation.
