Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST (WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT) for Shop 31 (Inside Machine Shop) in the PRODUCT DEPARTMENT of PSNS and IMF.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating workforce development trends, developing and monitoring employee career paths, identifying skill gaps and deficiencies, evaluating progress of program performance and providing recommendations for improvement.

  • You will conduct the oversight of the Career Path Program for the Workforce Development Branch.
  • You will serve as the primary point of contact for the Career Paths Program for the trade's workforce.
  • You will manage through subordinate employees, the trade's Career Path Program.
  • You will ensure all employees have a clear understanding of the program and their participation involvement.
  • You will ensure successful workforce development in order to further the careers of the employees, affecting the accomplishment of industrial work.
  • You will integrate, promote and administer the Competency Management System within all trade development programs.
