Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team to oversee and integrate advanced communication, control, and intelligence systems on Navy ships and submarines, ensuring they are modernized and ready for operations.

It requires coordinating with various military units and managing budgets and policies to support fleet readiness.

Key Requirements

  • At least one year of specialized experience at GS-12 level or equivalent in C5ISR systems modernization
  • Experience analyzing C5ISR capabilities and modernization packages for CRUDES ships
  • Proven collaboration with Strike Groups, DESRONS, ISICS, PEOs, Warfare Centers, SYSCOMS, and fleet commanders
  • Supervisory experience managing diverse teams including officers, enlisted, civilians, and contractors
  • Skill in developing policies, directives, and high-level briefs on C5ISR and fleet readiness
  • Familiarity with DOD Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) system for POM issues
  • Ability to analyze budget needs for equipment modernization and execution

Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the DIRECTOR MARITIME OPERATIONS of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing Modernization of C5ISR Systems.

Experience conducting analysis on Afloat Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) capabilities and ships modernization packages of CRUDES ships.

Experience collaborating with Strike Groups, DESRONS, ISICS, PEOs, Warfare Centers (NSWCs), SYSCOMS and numbered fleet commanders.

Experience supervising personnel and managing workloads of a diverse team.

Experience developing of policy, directives, and flag level informational/decision briefs related to C5ISR systems and others related to fleet support/readiness for the fleet.

  • You will provide for the coordination, implementation and integration of all C5ISR systems installed in Ship Classes under his cognizance throughout the theater of operations.
  • You will manage the C5IMP that provides configuration management for modernization and equipping ships, submarines, and shore sites with C5ISR capabilities.
  • You will be responsible for the direct supervision of all personnel assigned to their branch, including officers, enlisted, GS civilians and contractors.
  • You will carry out the policies of the Equal Employment Opportunity Program for civilian and military personnel and communicates the support of these policies.
