Conditions of Employment (cont.) Operations experience (rated (11,12,13), intelligence, Air Operations Center (AOC), Control Reporting Center/Air Defense Sector, Tactical Air Control Party (TACP), or Command & Control (C2), Nuclear Command and Control (NC3), or other C2 experience is critical to the successful completion of the work.
This position has been designated as an acquisition position and is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP).
Work requires the appropriate APDP certification: Level 2 in Test & Evaluation(T&E) - required.
This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program.
Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, Series 0343.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-12, or equivalent in other pay systems (may have been obtained in the federal service, military, or public sector).

FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible.
One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.

This is a Defense Acquisition Workforce (AWF) position.
The employee must meet the DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the Career Category/Functional Area and the Career Level Certification Foundational Career Level Certification or Contracting Professional Certification must be met within 3 years.
Practitioner Career Level Certification must be met within 5 years. Advanced Career Level Certification must be met within 4 years.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a first level supervisor & program analyst/manager, applying military operational experience in the planning, directing, organizing, execution, reporting of assigned command, control, communication, computer, intelligence, surveillance, & reconnaissance (C4ISR) programs, Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of 605 TES, ensuring that OT&E complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents 605 TES with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Provides technical guidance, leadership, advisory support, and assistance on an entire project and/or majorphases for broad and varied operations.
