Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of engineers in testing and maintaining nuclear reactors on Navy ships during overhauls and repairs at a shipyard in Washington state.
You'll supervise shifts, solve complex technical problems, and coordinate with experts to ensure safe and effective operations.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER in the NUCLEAR TEST ENGINEERING DIVISION of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional Shift Test Engineer providing leadership and technical direction for nuclear engineering projects in support of nuclear reactor plant overhaul, maintenance, testing and evaluation operations.
This position requires a Selective Placement Factor. You must be a qualified Shift Test Engineer.
