Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading projects to improve efficiency and fairly distribute workloads across immigration field offices in a district.

You'll guide a team in data analysis and program planning to support homeland security efforts against illegal activities.

As an SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST, you will lead diverse and unique projects to improve the performance of the District's subordinate Field Offices and to balance and equitably distribute the workload in those Field Offices.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 04/16/2026.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.

The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 04/16/2026. Selective Placement Factor: You must have experience using Tableau and Databricks for reporting and analytics.

GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the following duties: Providing technical and/or administrative guidance to a staff engaged in programs administering the data analysis of production and operations functions.

Coordinating and directing the accomplishment of difficult and diverse functions or issues. Analyzing and implementing issues related to the establishment of program goals and objectives.

Establishing long-range workplans and determining the actions necessary to accomplish these objectives.

  • Coordinates the work of subordinate staff focused on delivering fully analyzed data products to complete the Agency’s mission.
  • Provides day-to-day supervision to subordinates who provide analytical research and analysis related to immigration files, the data they contain, and the integrity of this information.
  • Develops, justifies, administers, and resolves significant issues relating to the respective program elements and sharing of immigration information.
  • Performs in-depth analysis and research to draft and propose significant changes to the workload balance and distribution of work between the Districts’ multiple Field Offices.
  • Performs in-depth analysis and research to draft and propose significant organizational improvements for the movement and dissemination of information.
