As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst (Section Chief), you will manage operational teams, evaluate work processes, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving operational and employee performance.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 03/06/2026.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.

The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 03/06/2026. Application Limit: This vacancy is limited to the first 50 applications received.

  • Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within the Verification Operations Centers and are assigned based on the need of the agency.
  • Provides technical and administrative supervision to the Review Process Section by establishing and carrying out action plans in order to accomplish agency goals and objectives.
  • Manages the development and evaluation of policies and recommends actions to achieve program objectives and improvements related to form reviews that support USCIS' humanitarian mission.
  • Leads the development of staff curricula and manages the implementation of training activities associated with program directives and initiatives.
  • Manages teams' case and work flow processes, implementing changes as needed and distributing work assignments to staff to best utilize their skills and experience while also ensuring developmental growth.
  • Coordinates with unit supervisors and peers to establish objectives, priorities and deadlines to formulate plans that meet substantial changes in workload, and adjusts work operations as needed to meet changing priorities within the organization.
