Base salary range: $104,604 - $135,987

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading IT efforts as a director for information systems and data management in a naval engineering command, focusing on giving expert advice on data issues, overseeing teams to ensure secure IT systems are reliable and accessible, and evaluating data using database principles.
It's ideal for experienced IT professionals with strong leadership skills who enjoy guiding technical teams and solving complex data challenges in a government setting.
A good fit would be someone with a background in federal or military IT who can handle high-level policy and security responsibilities.
You will serve as an Information Business Systems Director and Command Data Officer (CDO) in the Command Information Office of NAVFAC OSF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Having the ability to provide expert technical advice, guidance and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on IT data issues; 2) Leading cross-discipline teams to certify the availability, reliability and accessibility of secure IT systems and infrastructure; and 3) Applying database management concepts, principles, and methods to evaluating the aspects of data within a framework.
