Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Oversee and/or lead complex procurement processes; develop and/or implement policies; provide expert guidance; analysis of metrics, and reporting to senior leaders; manage contract functions and oversee use of contract systems; supervise staff; and/or ensure compliance with government regulations for high-value acquisitions.

• You will oversee complex contract functions and ensure alignment with Department of Defense and Navy policies.
• You will provide expert advice and guidance to senior leadership on regulations, policies, and procurement procedures.
• You will develop, plan, and interpret regulations for high-visibility procurement programs.
• You will manage and direct staff, setting priorities, resolving conflicts, and ensuring performance standards are met.
• You will serve as an authority in contract decisions, offering recommendations on procurement and policy.
• You will present written and oral briefings to senior government and industry officials, ensuring clarity and impact.
• You will supervise and mentor employees, identifying training needs and improving work processes for optimal performance.
