WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position.
To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Applying comprehensive knowledge of at least two major human capital program areas (e.g., classification, staffing, recruitment, employee and labor relations, compensation, performance management, reasonable accommodations, or related HR functions).
Partnering with senior leaders, program officials, and external stakeholders to assess workforce challenges and developing strategic human capital solutions aligned with organizational mission requirements.
Developing, interpreting, and providing authoritative guidance on complex HR policies and initiatives in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Advising executive leadership on high-impact or sensitive personnel matters and recommending strategic approaches to workforce planning and policy implementation.
Directing the design, oversight, and continuous improvement of personnel or training programs within a large or multi-component organization to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and operational efficiency Documenting experience: IN DESCRIBING YOUR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE BE CLEAR AND SPECIFIC.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Supervisory Human Resource Specialist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Providing program oversight, evaluating program effectiveness in meeting requirements, and recommending changes to programs as needed.
Evaluating problems, deficiencies, and inadequacies identified in administering programs at all levels. Developing and executing policies, requirements, and innovative strategies.
Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and policies.
Conducting comprehensive evaluations of ongoing functions ensuring the directorate meets its goals and identifies areas where operational efficiency can be enhanced.
Planning work for accomplishment by subordinate teams and advising subordinate supervisors and personnel on priorities.
