Summary

This job involves leading a team to manage maintenance and facilities for the U.S.

Marine Corps, including overseeing budgets, projects, and staff while ensuring everything follows rules and runs smoothly.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MAINTENANCE CONTROL MANAGER in the MARFORRES Facilities (G-F) of MARFORRES NOLA.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing budgets, and resources, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating complex projects across multiple teams AND led public works and facilities programs by supervising staff.

  • You will perform the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised.
  • You will provide advice and counsel to workers related to work and administrative matters.
  • You will communicate with senior management, OMB, Congress, and/or other individuals at all levels in the public and/or private sectors to justify, negotiate, convey, or resolve complex legislation, policies, regulations, and/or procedures.
  • You will coordinate with and advise other supervisory officials, reviewed and approved serious disciplinary actions, planned/assigned work priorities, evaluated performance, and interviewed candidates for positions.
  • You will plan and manage varied and complex projects in conjunction with multiple project teams with precedent-setting results.
  • You will determine the need for and oversees the development of written maintenance management policies and procedures, and reviews and recommends approval upon completion.
  • You will review productivity in all project areas and phases, monitors problem areas, and oversees implementation of solutions to project issues.
