Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
Experience demonstrating this competency include: Collaborating with customers to assess mission requirements, needs, facilities, and systems involved to fulfill operational requirements. 3.
Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
Examples of experience demonstrating this competency include: Presenting clear, concise, and well-constructed oral presentations that address designated issues. 4.
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
Examples of experience demonstrating this competency include: Identifying and evaluating requirements to design telecommunications system configurations to meet current and future mission requirements.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have qualifying experience such as: Experience formulating policy and financial plans for capital and operational costs to include associated appropriations and budget with financial obligations associated with infrastructure procurements.
Experience managing and tracking investment portfolio and budgets.
Experience supervising and establishing workload priorities based on the employees' capabilities while identifying developmental and training needs.
Experience developing mid and long-range plans and related cost estimates for future networking services.
This position is within the Work Category Supervision and Management at Work Level Full Performance, Series and Grade GG-2210-13.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
