You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, SECURITY DIVISION, SPECIAL PROGRAMS BRANCH of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI.
The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze.

NT-5 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS 11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading a team to analyze and resolve difficult and complex security problems.
Examples of qualifying experience may include (1) applying knowledge of Navy and DoD special security governing instructions, policies, practices and procedures; (e.g.
5220-22-M Supplement) (2) researching and interpreted applicable directives to develop, implement, and maintain compliant and effective local Special Security policies and procedures.
(3) managing and overseeing all aspects of a compliant Special Security Program.
NT-4 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3 (GS 9/10) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying a wide range of security management principles to analyze and resolve difficult and complex security problems.
Examples of qualifying experience may include (1) applying knowledge of Navy and DoD special security governing instructions, policies, practices and procedures; (e.g.
