Summary

This job involves leading a team in the development, testing, and management of advanced radar, antenna, and electronic warfare systems for naval aircraft avionics.

The role requires overseeing projects to meet deadlines and budgets while coordinating with others inside and outside the organization.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a Brand Head and Supervisory Engineer/Scientist in the Radar Antenna & Electronic Warfare Division, Avionics Engineering Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Serving as a subject matter expert on managing, developing, and testing Radar, Antenna, Electronics Warfare Systems, and related avionics systems/components; (2) Performing systems engineering research, development, and life-cycle support to accomplish avionics system program goals and objectives; (3) Overseeing and assigning work assignments to subordinates, based on organizational priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, and/or capabilities of employees; (4) Providing project/program management to meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements for avionics system project/program; and (5) Functioning as a liaison with internal and external contacts to ensure assigned program needs are addressed and program goals are met..
