Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team to manage contracts for building and maintaining facilities, including creating project plans, overseeing contractors, and handling budgets for the Navy.

It's a supervisory role where you'll ensure projects stay on track and meet quality standards.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FACILITIES SUPPORT CONTRACTS MANAGER in the FMFS BRANCH MECHANICSBURG of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing technical specifications, scopes of work, and cost estimates for facilities service and construction contracts.

2) Monitoring contractor performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions. 3) Providing technical guidance on contractual matters and participating in contract negotiations.

4) Assisting with the planning and strategy for acquiring services and construction. 5) Managing the funding and processing of payments for various service and construction projects.
