This position is in the Office of the Administrator (AO), Office of Civil Rights and Adjudication, External Civil Rights Division. About AO.

This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.

NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as leading or advising on external civil rights compliance activities related to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; developing or making recommendations on external civil rights compliance procedures or policies; and coaching, mentoring, or leading others.

You will: Provide direction, guidance, and oversight to staff with respect to external civil rights enforcement activities and external rights compliance by programs or activities that receive financial assistance from EPA.

Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the Office of the External Civil Rights Compliance.

Develop and implement external transparency initiatives and websites to conduct a timely and effective pre-award form 4700-4 review process.

Manage the informal resolution agreements (IRA) process, including the facilitated IRA Process. Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
