About the Position: This position provides critical services to OMD and the tenants on APG to include answering emergency service calls, maintaining the Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations, assigning work to Industrial Equipment Mechanic's and Plant Operators, Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized specialized requirements described below.

To qualify for the Supervisor Engineering Technician (Wastewater Plant) GS-0802-12 position, you MUST have the one of the following Basic Occupational Requirements shown below: I have specialized experience including technical work in the areas such as: drafting, surveying construction estimating, physical science, mathematics, aerospace, architecture, chemicals, electrical or mechanical systems, mining, petroleum, or nuclear systems.
OR I have experience in a trade or craft that work required intensive knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, methods, and precedents for example trade positions with substantial developmental, test, or design responsibilities such as: a Planner and estimator who analyzed designs for production purposes or an Instrument maker or model maker who performed design or development work on devices fabricated.
OR I am certified by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies, an organization sponsored by the National Society of Professional Engineers.
AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: knowledge of the operation, maintenance and repair of the wastewater treatment plant/sanitary distribution and the installation water distribution system through wastewater treatment plant operators and industrial equipment mechanics assigned to the waterworks branch.
Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
Experience as liaison to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on maintenance, repair, and various other construction projects. Major Duties:
