Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to provide engineering support for testing, repairing, and certifying combat systems on Navy ships, ensuring everything runs smoothly during overhauls and maintenance.
It's a supervisory role where you'll guide projects, resolve technical issues, and manage work schedules in a naval shipyard setting.
A good fit would be someone with hands-on experience in ship engineering, strong leadership skills, and a background in technical troubleshooting for military or industrial systems.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Combat Systems Engineering & Planning Division of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical engineering advisory services in testing and certification requirements associated with overhaul, alteration, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting ship systems and components for combat Systems or related support systems.
