Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of contract specialists in the Navy's contracting department, overseeing the full process of procuring and managing contracts for services and supplies.
You'll plan workloads, make key decisions on contracts, represent the organization in high-level meetings, and ensure everything complies with government rules.
It's a great fit for experienced procurement professionals with supervisory skills who enjoy strategic planning and problem-solving in a military setting.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Contracting Department of PSNS and IMF.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate 4 or more years of acquisition experience with at least 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Contract Specialist providing expert advisory, planning and review of contractual services for the full-range of contract procurement and administration to include functions such as contract analysis, fact-finding, pricing techniques, problem resolution, planning procurement approaches, and development of contractual action plans.
