This position is in the Office of Water, Office of Wetlands, Oceans, and Watersheds, Health and Ecological Assessment Division, Health and Ecological Criteria Branch.
About: The Office of Water This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis.

In addition to the basic entry education requirements, you must have specialized experience and/or directly related education as described below: To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as leading and/or supervising scientific risk assessments that involve human, animal, and/or ecological toxicological effects of pollutants pursuant to federal law(s) (e.g., Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act) and its regulations; and establishing and/or monitoring performance measures to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and progress of a team.

You will: Plan, organize, manage, and execute branch program workflow operations and development to ensure activities are efficient and effective in successfully meeting goals, objectives, commitments, and agency pillars.
Effectively and efficiently manages (e.g., supervise, develop, coach, mentor, etc) program supervisory functions to maximize staff performance.
Builds and establishes collaborative relationships and represents the agency in a variety of functional areas to strategically promote execution of agency pillars.
Manages, oversees, and provides technical direction on use of extramural funds, contract dollars, grants and other resources to ensure compliance with applicable federal requirements and laws.
You will spend 10% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
