Base salary range: $104,604 - $135,987

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to one of the duty stations stated in this announcement on a regular basis.

In addition to the basic education requirements, you must have specialized experience and/or directly related education as described below: To qualify for the GS-14 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-13 level defined as providing technical advice or leadership in developing air quality regulations or pollution standards; directing or participating on teams to create air quality policies, programs, or regulations; and managing time and resources to produce deliverables that meet program objectives.

You will: Plan, organize, and direct organizational priorities and resources to achieve the Division's goals.
Exercise supervisory responsibilities to foster an environment that empowers employees to participate in and contribute to mission success.
Represent the Agency with a variety of functional area organizations to provide authoritative and programmatic guidance.
Serve as a National Ambient Air Quality Standards technical advisor for review processes that integrate science and policy considerations for decision makers and regulatory packages.
