Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team in managing non-facilities infrastructure support, including safety, health, environmental programs, and project execution to keep operations running smoothly at a naval warfare center.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Infrastructure Support (non-facilities) Branch (1022), Infrastructure Division (102), Corporate Operations Department (10) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13/14.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading the planning and execution of projects, programs, or initiatives by managing project resources and quality deliverables to ensure customer objectives are met.

  • You will provide technical leadership and supervisory oversight to employees within their respective organization performing a variety of functions.
  • You will develop, implement, and administer all facility, safety, health, and environmental programs.
  • You will provide technical guidance and counseling to ensure compliance with all regulatory guidance.
  • You will evaluate proposed designs, methods, and procedures for technical conformance with facility and physical safety criteria.
  • You will oversee the comprehensive accident prevention and loss control program.
  • You will be responsible for the organization's overall effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity along with the development/implementation of NSWC Crane policies/procedures.
  • You will ensure effective collaboration and teaming both internal to Crane and external.
  • You will effectively communicate up, down, and across the chain of command, and with outside organizations, sponsors, and business partners.
  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the organization's facility portions of the business plan, hiring plan, personnel actions, conflict resolution, contracts, quality initiatives, training, and budget planning.
