Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of IT specialists to manage and improve command and control systems and secure networks for the Navy, focusing on coordinating projects with military customers and program offices.
It requires overseeing technical work, solving system issues, and mentoring staff to ensure efficient operations.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) in the COMMAND AND CONTROL & NETWORKS of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1.
Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: oversees or performs research on computer project assignments that require a wide range of knowledge on computer requirements and techniques.

Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Selectee is responsible for the technical coordination between all Branch projects, Division management functions, operational warfighter customers, and program offices.

Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Provide effective communications between both technical and programmatic aspects of operational requirements. 4.
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Provide technical assessments and reviews, engineer and/or manage technical systems designs, integrate systems solutions, and provide leadership and guidance in developing the Indo Pacific Department's 5.3 competency workforce.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-11 or pay band NM-03 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Providing technical and project management oversight; implements and maintains coalition communication systems; analyzing systems and providing recommendations on ways to improve performance and efficiency and providing general oversight and/or mentoring to engineers and/or IT specialists.
