Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Global Deterrence & Defense Department (GX), Missile Systems Hardware & Test Division (GXW), Project Management Branch (GXWP) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading the development, improvement, and training of project management methodologies and standards to promote consistency in practices for an organization.

• You will lead the development and improvement of project management methodologies and standards, and promote consistency in practices across the team.
• You will provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and mentorship to a team of task managers.
• You will provide training and guidance on project management best practices and ensure effective communication between task managers and stakeholders.
• You will identify solutions to emerging challenges and provides guidance and advice to subordinates and to other supervisors and managers.
• You will formulate strategy, objectives, and priorities and implements plans consistent with long-term interests and mission requirements of the organization.
