Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of experts in developing advanced underwater surveillance technologies for the Navy, including planning projects, supervising staff, and ensuring innovative systems are delivered on time.
It requires overseeing research, engineering, and testing to support defense and intelligence needs.
A good fit would be an experienced technical leader with a background in engineering or science, strong management skills, and a passion for cutting-edge autonomous tech in a government setting.
You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the AUTONOMOUS TECHNOLOGIES of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NM-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leads in providing research, analysis, systems engineering, design, development, and/or test and evaluation using innovative methods to ensure state of-the-art surveillance systems are delivered to Department of Navy (DoN) and Intelligence Communities (IC) programs.
