Full Job Description

This position serves under the Nationwide Central Intake Facility (NCIF) of the Debt Collection Management Staff, providing leadership and operational oversight of the NCIF and related debt-collection management functions.

It is also the authority for analyzing, reporting, and presenting debt collection and financial data.

To qualify for the position of Supervisory Program Specialist, at GS-0301-15, you must meet the qualification requirements listed below.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service, which includes: Must meet four out of six specialized experience, 1) Planning, organizing, and directing debt management work; developing and/or implementing recommendations and guidance to resolve problems of work operations; 2) Directing successful implementation of programs and/or projects and coordinating with staff to ensure that the goals and directives are met; 3) Performing administrative and human resource management functions for the staff supervised; 4) Planning and/or conducting meetings, briefings and other activities in support of particular programs; 5) Performing and/or conducting research of federal laws and regulations as it relates to debt collection; 6) Conducting detailed analyses of complex functions and /or work processes.

The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory Program Specialist, GS-0301-15 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide leadership and operational oversight of the NCIF and related debt-collection management functions.
