Full Job Description

You will serve as a Supervisor in the Logistics and Life Cycle Engineering Department of NIWC ATLANTIC.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band (NM-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading an Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Reliability Engineering workforce and providing an in-depth understanding of the twelve IPS elements and digital engineering principles.

  • You will be responsible for leading the development and management of a skilled workforce to build the Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Reliability Engineering Competency.
  • You will provide leadership to personnel/for logistics requirements throughout the NIWC Atlantic departments to support integrated product support elements.
  • You will provide advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on work/administrative matters and identify ways to improve production and/or increase the quality of work directed.
  • You will manage the integrated product support customer relationship to include identification of customer needs, resourcing planning and allocation, service delivery, and facilitation of customer outcomes.
  • You will manage and supervise work that involves the design, development, manufacture, operation, maintenance, and disposal of systems and related equipment.
