Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to manage and improve communication systems for the Navy, including coordinating projects, analyzing technical needs, and mentoring engineers and IT specialists.
It's a supervisory role focused on ensuring efficient command and control networks, especially for coalition partners.
A good fit would be someone with experience in technical project management and a background in engineering or IT, who enjoys guiding teams and solving system performance issues.
You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the COMMAND AND CONTROL & NETWORKS of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NM-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical and project management oversight; implements and maintains coalition communication systems; analyzing systems and providing recommendations on ways to improve performance and efficiency and providing general oversight and/or mentoring to engineers and/or IT specialists.
