This position is part of the Agency Force Protection, Government Publishing Office in Washington, District of Columbia.
To qualify for the Staff Assistant, PG -0303-7, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the PG-06 in the federal service.
Specialized experience includes: Operating word processing and spreadsheet software to create charts and tables from statistical data. Preparing routine correspondence such as emails.
Conveying information clearly through verbal and written channels. Using a computer to enter data into a database.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
