Full Job Description

You will serve as a Small Craft Operator Supervisor, First Mate of Yard Torpedo Test (YTT) vessel in the Range Craft Branch, PNW Range Management & Operations Division, System Acceptance & Operational Readiness Department of Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA) with a duty location of Bangor, WA.

Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job.

  • You will, in conjunction with the master, develop and implement the daily crew work list.
  • You will serve as the lead for all complex rigging and deck work.
  • You will pilot and efficiently handle the vessel during normal operations.
